WE DID IT PEOPLE!
Tomorrow marks the TWO WEEK anniversary of the creation of this beloved blog. But, OH, that's not all... this also marks the 26TH POST since I started it two whole weeks ago. "26? Why is 26 so special? Sounds like a pretty random number to me..." OH REALLZ??
If you happened to read the very first post in this blog's history, you would know that the whole reason that this blog was created was because my dear friend Annie was neglecting her own blog, http://ahnutty.blogspot.com/. As the ONE and ONLY 'follower' of her blog I happened to know for a fact that her blog has a grand total of 25 posts... which means that this blog OFFICIALLY has more posts than hers.
Honestly I thought it was going to take a fair amount longer to surpass her blog. After all, it did take her over 8 months to reach the elusive 25. But 2 weeks? That's LIGHTNING fast. I'm pretty sure that, by blog standards, my blog has officially become BETTER than her blog. Again, I'm not saying her blog is bad... I'm just saying this one is better ; )
I consider this moment a total team effort, and I want to emphasize that everyone should feel personal satisfction and triumph for this momentous occasion. For that reason I want to send out some quick thank you's to those who made this day possible.
Thank you to everyone who reads this blog on a regular/semi-regular basis. Knowing that you're out there reading really kept me motivated to continue posting.
Thank you to 'Thomas' and 'All That Is Man' for collectively having 5 times more comments than all other comments combined (excluding mine).
Thank you to everyone I work with for being absolutely ruhtarded and giving me material to write about.
Thank you to AO for being the inspiration to for this entire blog.
Thanks to my parents for birthing and/or raising me.
But most of all I'd like to thank Dave Thomas for founding Wendy's just over 41 years ago and introducing Junior Bacon Chi's into my life.
In the spirit of the holidays... and this blog I have composed a little diddy I'd like to sing. It goes a little something like this...
ReplyDeleteJoy to the World, the JBC is come!
Let earth ingest his Burger;
Let every stomach prepare it room,
And Dave Thomas and Strombole sing,
And Dave Thomas and Strombole sing,
And Dave, and Dave Thomas, and Strombole sing!!!
Truly inspiring. Joel I am so proud of your achievement. I submitted it the Guinness Book of World Records but it may be a few weeks until they get back to me with the results.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note you may consider changing the name of the blog the Lighting McQueen of Flash 2.0.
As a reward for your great accomplishment, the next time i am hanging out with you, black out drunk, at 2:30 am, while throwing up, I will pull a delicious JBC out of my pocket for you to enjoy.
